Hello! Today we are going to learn about the letter F. F is a really cool letter because it makes a sound that’s fun to say – “fuh”! We’re going to practice writing the letter F and learn some words that start with F.

First, let’s trace the letter F. Look at the worksheet in front of you – can you see the big letter F at the top? We’re going to practice tracing it. Start at the top of the line, and follow the arrows with your pencil down to the bottom. Then, curve your pencil around to the right and back up to the top of the line. Great job! Now, let’s try it a few more times until you feel comfortable with it.

Next, let’s practice writing some words that start with F. Look at the pictures on the worksheet – do you recognize any of them? They all start with the letter F! We’re going to trace the word under each picture. Remember to start at the top of the line and follow the arrows with your pencil.

Once you’ve traced the words, try writing them on your own! Start at the top of the line, and use the tracing as a guide. Remember to take your time and try to make your letters neat and clear.

Here you can practice correct handwriting. Children practice writing the letter F  in lower case, upper case, and words that begin with that initial letter. This activity is designed for visual learners.

Students can learn the followings through this activity:

    • lower case letters are the same height.
    • upper case letters touch the top of the line.
    • use finger spaces between each new letter or new word.

This will be very helpful for the students just beginning to start handwriting.
