This worksheet is about words that have “silent letters.” That means, when we say those words out loud, we don’t actually hear the sound of some letters. Your job is to look at each picture and write the word that goes with it. For example, if you see a plane picture, you would write “plane.” But notice that we don’t hear the sound of the letter ‘e’ when we say it. The same goes for a picture of a whale – you would write “whale,” but we don’t hear the sound of the ‘h’ when we say it. Just do your best, and have fun with it!
